Meet the Founder & CEO
Mrs. Janice Kakungu
Living To Care, LLC was founded in 2008 then launched in 2021 by Mrs. Janice Kakungu. With over 20 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry, the Founder & CEO worked at several Nursing Homes and Rehabilitation Centers where she noticed the need for a caring and supportive team.
Mrs. Kakungu has vast experience in Healthcare Insurance, the Admissions process, Community and Long Term Care Medical Assistance. She has been certified in Public Policy Analysis and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPAA). She is also a Certified Mental Health First Aid Responder, dedicated to providing support and helping individuals in crisis find the care and hope they need. She is well-versed in Assisted Living, Group Homes, Independent Living ,and Nursing Home Facilities for the aged, blind, and disable.

Having experienced the referral and placement process with her own family, the Founder & CEO realized there is a great need for more compassionate, empathetic, and professional personnel. Her commitment is that everyone would feel at home, welcomed, and supported when reaching out to Living To Care for services.
